The Faculty Office for Engineering and Science / Medicine

The Faculty Office for Engineering and Science / Medicine is a joint administrative unit that serves the Faculty of Medicine (SUND) and the Faculty of Engineering and Science  (TEKNAT) at Aalborg University.

The faculty office supports the two Dean's Offices as well as the faculties' central functions within research, education, dissemination and collaboration with the surrounding society.

The Faculty Office for Engineeing and Science / Medicine is headed by Niels Maarbjerg Olesen, Faculty Director.

Departments

The Faculty Office is organized in the following departments:

• Education and Programmes 
  Program administration / quality assurance / accreditation
• AAU Innovation
  Patents / matchmaking / entrepreneurship
• Financial Services
  Budget / management information / projects / physical planning
• Human Resources
  Academic appointments / HR services for TEKNAT and SUND / consultation committee
• Communication
  Branding /press / internal logistics
• Information Service Technology 
  IT infrastructure / hardware and software implementation
   

Both faculties are thus served by the same faculty office. There is one exception, however, in that each faculty has its own management secretariat:
